We're looking for a Freelance Web Developer to join our team!

‍

Responsibilities:

• Acting as the lead developer on your build, with support from our team
• Creating WordPress themes and templates from scratch
• Building high-quality, responsive layouts with smooth interactions, transitions and/or animations
• Using Advanced Custom Fields to build out admin UI
• Using Alpine, Twig and Tailwind to build out the front end
• Entering content and fielding revisions from our internal team
• Working closely with designers, developers, writers and strategists throughout your build
• Adding new features and functionality to existing WordPress sites
• Creating custom integrations between WordPress and third party systems
• Pushing the future of WordPress as it continues to evolve

Qualifications:

• 4+ years professional experience building out WordPress websites
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript and PHP
• Familiarity with building designs from tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe CreativeSuite
• Appreciation and consideration of technical requirements and constraints
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on organization, logic, and analysis

Experience:

• WordPress Development: 4+ years

Bonus material:

• Experience with modular web development trends
• Experience with custom email design and development
• Experience with eCommerce builds
• Experience building custom WP plugins
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue and React
• Experience with MySQL
• Experience with analytics implementation, reporting or DataStudio
