Social Media Content Creator

Shake Shack is seeking LA, Miami, Texas and NYC-based Content Contributors! As a Shake Shack Content Contributor, you will work with our social media team to pitch fresh and exciting ideas, execute and edit content, and help reach new people to build our online community. You’ll learn about the brand and develop close relationships with your local Shack teams, immersing yourself in Shack culture to create social-first concepts and assets for us to share. This is an independent contractor position and the expected compensation range is $1,000-1,500 (based on experience) for three videos (concept + execution).

Expectations:

• As an independent contractor, you will concept and execute 3 original videos per month for Shake Shack’s social media channels (including Instagram, TikTok, + YouTube)
• Regularly pitch new concepts based on current trends and ‘evergreen’ ideas
• Attend new Shack openings + Shake Shack events near you
• Regularly travel to Shake Shack locations to capture content
• Build relationships with local Shack teams

Requirements:

• Must be located within driving distance of 2+ Shack locations.
• 1+ years of social media experience (professional or personal), including: some text
  • Concepting social media posts or campaigns
  • Content capture including photo + video
  • Experience with social media editing apps like CapCut, TikTok, etc.
• Interpret Shake Shack’s social media strategy and use discretion to develop concepts that speak to the brand’s tone of voice and business goals.
• Understanding and excitement for current social media and cultural trends
• Understanding of social media best practices, especially concerning video
• Interest in marketing, hospitality, and/or food

Preferred: 

• Interest or experience with food styling (personal or professional) 
• Experience with editing software beyond basic social media apps (e.g. AdobePremier Pro)
