CMO Alpha provides fractional marketing (CMO-level) leadership for financial advisors, RIAs, wealth managers, fintech firms, and financial services companies. We help firms clarify their positioning, build smarter marketing systems, execute campaigns, improve content, and create more consistent growth.

CMO Alpha is hiring a Fractional Marketing Manager to support client marketing execution across multiple accounts.

This person will work directly with the founder to help manage campaigns, content, email marketing, website updates, CRM workflows, social media, reporting, and client deliverables.

This is more than a coordinator role. The right person can take direction, think through the next step, manage details without constant hand-holding, and help keep client work moving forward.

The ideal candidate is a strong marketing generalist who understands how content, email, websites, CRM, social media, paid campaigns, and reporting fit together. Financial services experience is helpful, but not required. Comfort with compliance-sensitive industries is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Execution & Project Management

  • Manage assigned client marketing tasks from start to finish
  • Translate strategy discussions into clear action items, timelines, and deliverables
  • Keep client projects organized across multiple moving parts
  • Coordinate with writers, designers, developers, contractors, and internal support
  • Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
  • Prepare updates for client meetings and internal check-ins

Content & Campaign Support

  • Help build and manage content calendars
  • Draft, edit, or refine marketing copy for emails, social posts, landing pages, newsletters, and website updates
  • Repurpose long-form content into social posts, emails, and campaign assets
  • Support client newsletters, nurture sequences, webinar campaigns, and lead generation efforts
  • Ensure content aligns with the client’s voice, audience, and positioning

Email, CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Build and manage email campaigns in platforms such as HighLevel, Kit, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools
  • Help organize contact lists, tags, workflows, forms, and basic automations
  • Support newsletter sends, nurture campaigns, event follow-ups, and prospect communications
  • Test emails, links, forms, automations, and landing pages before launch

Website & Digital Marketing Support

  • Help manage website updates in WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Squarespace, or similar platforms
  • Coordinate page edits, blog uploads, metadata, formatting, images, and basic SEO improvements
  • Support landing page creation and campaign tracking
  • Review websites for consistency, broken links, formatting issues, and content gaps

Reporting & Optimization

  • Help maintain marketing dashboards and KPI reports
  • Pull basic data from platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Meta Ads, HighLevel, email tools, and social platforms
  • Identify basic trends, issues, and opportunities
  • Prepare simple performance summaries for client meetings

Client & Team Communication

  • Join select client or internal calls as needed
  • Capture notes, next steps, and action items
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and contractors
  • Raise issues early when projects are blocked, unclear, or falling behind

The right person is organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working inside a small but growing fractional marketing business.

They should be able to say, “I’ve got it,” and actually own the next several steps.

Required Experience
  • 3–6+ years of hands-on marketing experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience managing marketing execution across content, email, websites, social media, and campaigns
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading ability
  • Comfortable working with multiple clients or projects at once
  • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Comfort using AI tools to improve speed, quality, and efficiency

Helpful Experience
  • Financial services, fintech, wealth management, or professional services marketing
  • WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Squarespace, or Webflow
  • HighLevel, HubSpot, Kit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar CRM/email platforms
  • Canva, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Monday, or similar tools
  • Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or basic SEO tools
  • Experience supporting webinars, events, lead magnets, landing pages, or nurture campaigns

In the first 90 days, success will look like:
  • Client work is moving faster and with fewer bottlenecks
  • Marketing tasks are organized, tracked, and completed on time
  • Content, emails, website updates, and campaigns require less founder oversight
  • Client deliverables are cleaner before they reach final review
  • The founder spends more time on strategy, sales, and client leadership instead of chasing execution details
  • Internal systems become more repeatable and less dependent on memory

This Role Is Not
  • This is not a purely administrative role. It requires marketing judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage execution with some independence.
  • This is also not a senior marketing strategist role. The founder will continue leading client strategy, positioning, and high-level planning. This role supports that strategy by making sure the work gets done well.

You’ll be a strong fit if you are:
  • Detail-oriented without being slow
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, but willing to ask smart questions
  • Good at turning messy information into organized next steps
  • Able to balance quality with speed
  • Clear and responsive in communication
  • Calm under moving deadlines
  • Interested in financial services, entrepreneurship, and small business growth

We’re a small, growing firm, so this role is ideal for someone who likes variety, can move quickly, and is comfortable turning strategy into organized execution.
