Freelance Motion Graphics Designer

Atomic Kid Studios is a full-service production studio located in Milford, Connecticut.

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Graphic Designer with a strong background in designing for motion graphics.

‍

This is an immediate, remote freelance opportunity with a negotiated hourly or project rate.

‍

‍

What You’ll Do:

• Design visual systems and style frames for animated videos.
• Create layouts, typography, iconography, infographics, and presentation graphics optimized for animation.
• Develop polished visual concepts that translate seamlessly into After Effects and other motion design workflows.
• Collaborate with our creative directors and motion designers to bring concepts to life.

What We’re Looking For:

• Exceptional graphic design and typography skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating work created specifically for motion graphics, explainer videos, broadcast, or digital content.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma (After Effects experience is a plus, but not required).
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
