Braven is a national nonprofit that prepares promising college students to secure a strong first opportunity after college graduation through a career-accelerating program. We work with higher education and employer partners to offer a life-changing experience that begins with a semester-long course (the Accelerator) for college students followed by support that lasts through graduation.
The Accelerator course is a hybrid online and in-person career-acceleration experience that students take for credit during their sophomore or junior year. Students complete weekly online modules and assignments to develop in six professional competencies: career navigation, teamwork, leadership, problem solving, organization, and communication. Volunteer professionals, called Leadership Coaches, facilitate the live course time and lead teams of 5-8 students in weekly Learning Labs, working with them on the real-world application of these skills.
Braven's Product Team is seeking an Instructional Content Developer to support the Director, Learning Experience Designer II, Volunteer Program in the design and ongoing improvement of Braven's volunteer learning experiences.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited for an instructional designer who is comfortable moving between strategic briefs and detailed production work, and who can operate independently using documentation and design specs to guide their work.
