Photographers & Videographers

The Monterey County Business Council is seeking experienced photographers and videographers to help capture the stories, connections, and community impact of El Mercadito on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM in Soledad.

We’re looking for a creative partner who can produce high-quality visual content that highlights local businesses, community engagement, and the energy of this unique event for use across our social media, marketing, and outreach efforts.

‍

Proposals should include:

• A pricing proposal that includes either a flat rate for a single event, a discounted rate for multiple events, or an hourly rate. Please base your pricing on coverage for El Mercadito on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• A detailed description of your proposed deliverables, including the anticipated number and type of edited photographs, social media reels, short-form videos, highlight videos, or other content you will provide
• At least three professional references from clients for recent or comparable projects
• A portfolio demonstrating your experience with event photography and videography, preferably featuring work created for social media, marketing, or community events

• Travel to Soledad
• 7-day content turnaround
• Unlimited marketing usage rights with no additional licensing fees
