Social Media Content Creator

Apothékary is on a mission to give ancient, plant-based healing traditions new life—so that you can live a more balanced one. All of our Signature Formulas are thoughtfully formulated by our in-house Clinical Herbalists, pulling from traditional medicine modalities like Japanese Kampo, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and American herbalism. The result is simple yet effective herbal remedies with tradition and modern science in mind.

I'm building out our social media presence and need a part-time (10-15 hours a week) content creator to help me ideate, edit, and post content, ranging from business / personal storytelling to founder insights around wellness, fundraising, leadership, scaling and more.

Responsibilities:

• Ideate content concepts for my personal social channels (IG, TT, LI)
• Edit short-form video and photo content
• Manage the posting calendar and publish content directly to my account
• Track content performance and flag what's working to shape future ideas

The Ideal Candidate:

• Technical Skills: Experience with mobile editing software  
• Professional Experience: 1+ years in social media or content creation
• Discretion and good judgment with a founder's personal brand and public image
• Moves fast :)

Must have:

• Previous experience collaborating directly with a Founder or C-level executive
• Based in or near NYC, available for in-person shoots
