I'm on the lookout for an NYC-based social media manager for a short- to medium-term (2-6 months) contract starting ASAP.

Must-haves:
  • 3-5 years of professional social media management experience within a nonprofit, NGO, or mission-driven organization.
  • Deep knowledge of all major social media platforms (especially LI+IG)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience with social media tools: Hootsuite, social listening tools, Capcut, Canva, Trello, etc.
  • Experience with Google tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Basic-intermediate photography/videography shooting/editing skills (iPhone or DSLR/mirrorless)
  • Experience with C-suite social media management
  • Creative and strategic
  • Collaborative and empathetic

Nice to have:
  • Background in climate, sustainability, water, oceans, human rights, and/or gender equality.
  • Experience with Asana and Slack
  • Ability to occasionally travel internationally
  • Experience in the United Nations system
  • Sense of humour

More Info:
  • Hybrid work environment — must be able to work in our midtown NYC office/at events some of the time
