At Cattle Care, a California-based startup, we use cutting-edge computer vision and AI to optimize the operations of commercial dairy farms. Our technology helps farmers eliminate operational blind spots, maximize labor efficiency, and enhance team management, while simultaneously ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare. We currently have around 800,000 cows in the US under our monitoring. Backed by $3.7M in funding from VCs, serial angel investors and domain experts, we are looking for talented individuals to expand our team to help scale our technology.

Cattle Care is looking for a part-time, tech-savvy social media manager to expand our digital presence.

As our Social Media & Content Manager, you will translate data and real on-farm success stories into compelling visual and written content. Your primary goal is to turn our technical expertise into highly engaging inbound leads by showing large-scale dairy producers exactly how our platform can enhance their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Content Creation & Strategy
    • Platform Management: Own the creation, scheduling, publishing, and optimization across our core channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.
    • Data-Driven Storytelling: Turn raw farm data, ROI case studies, and compliance metrics into clean infographics, short-form videos (Reels/Shorts), and written posts.
    • Campaign Execution: Assist in rolling out targeted content campaigns to capture warm inbound leads.
  • 2. Community Management & Engagement
    • Industry Networking: Monitor and engage in active dairy, AgTech, Nutritionist & Veterinary Facebook groups, LinkedIn threads, and forums to position Cattle Care as an industry thought leader.
    • Inbound Triage: Monitor comments and direct messages daily, answering baseline questions and routing high-intent lead inquiries directly to our inbound sales pipeline.
  • 3. Basic Analytics & Reporting
    • Performance Tracking: Provide a brief monthly scorecard highlighting follower growth, engagement rates, and how many inbound leads were generated via social channels direct messages.

Qualifications & Skills
  • The Dairy Experience Advantage: Prior experience in agriculture, animal science, or the dairy industry is required. You need to speak the language of a producer/farm manager.
  • Content Toolkit: Proficiency with basic design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite) to produce professional, clean visual assets.
  • Copywriting: Ability to write clear, professional, yet conversational copy that resonates with busy farm operators.
  • Self-Starter: Since this is a remote, part-time position, you must be highly organized, capable of meeting deadlines, and comfortable working independently.
