Melissa Berdiel (Misty) is a travel-loving, foodie, creative professional currently living in Seattle, WA. Her 14+ Year career began on the East coast in East Stroudsburg, PA. While attending East Stroudsburg University, she had the opportunity to become the founder of a Multicultural Greek Letter organization, Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Incorporated. Misty managed the marketing and communications for the chapter following graduation as an Alumni for several years. She produced web layouts, promo videos, and logos for the organization on a national and district level as well. Misty began freelancing in 2013 as a web designer while learning to program websites on Lyda.com and Youtube. She became a speaker for Girls Who Code Scranton in 2016. At the end of that year Misty moved to Florida, taking on a Senior Design role at an Advertising Agency, as a team lead and Assistant to the Art Director.

As a contractor, Misty had the pleasure of developing marketing materials for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, while expanding her knowledge of UX Design. She enjoys finding inspiration for her work through urban sketching and music. While she is somewhat new to the West Coast, she values embracing the chance to explore new cultures and locations as a remote contributor. Misty founded MADE X MISTY LLC, a Digital Design Consultancy in July 2020. MADE X MISTY designs creative assets for individuals, businesses and organizations to leverage for marketing and communication purposes, focusing efforts on the biopic community.
